Covid-19 Safety Plan

Thank you so much for trusting us with the safety and education of your dancer. We are so pleased with the success of the studio in dance classes and dance camps with keeping our dancers and staff members safe with no known transmission of COVID. As we head into Season 8 and another season with COVID, we will continue these effective extra measures to help with the health of our dance families.

  • Class sizes decided by allowing dancers to spread out

  • Portable HEPA air filters in each studio space

  • Cleaning floors and barres between each class

  • Props cleaned after one use

  • Mat buddies for tumbling and acro (Acro Islands)

  • Closed lobby except for shopping

  • Lesson plans made with current safety measures in mind

  1. Dance is a natural sport that spreads out. Dancers take class in staggered lines or staggered at the barre so that no-one kicks or hits…perfect for natural distancing.

  2. Parents & guardians are asked to drop off dancers at the main door and not to enter the studio. We found this helped our youngest dancers adjust more quickly to dancing at the studio!

  3. All classes can be viewed live on Zoom. You can access the link through your account on our free app (the easiest way) or online. All participants and hosts will be on mute to allow for no audio disruption.

  4. Dancers are asked to wear normal shoes into the lobby and change into their dance shoes at their designated spot inside the studio.

  5. There is no water fountain. Dancers are asked to bring water in a SPILL PROOF water bottle.

  6. Teachers have created lesson plans with the current safety guidelines in mind.

  7. Any props used will be put in the “used” bin to be sanitized before being used again.

  8. All classes will end 3-5 minutes early to allow staff time to clean the floor and high touch areas before the next class arrives.

  9. Bathrooms and high traffic areas are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.
