Ballet Focus
Requirements for D2D GLOW Performance Teams 2023-24:
~ Dancers must be at least 18 years old by September 1, 2023
~ Performance TEAM dancers commit to fulfill the season: August intensive-June recital. They also commit to being a leader at the studio through humility, grace, and love.
~Performance team dancers are required to enroll in the Thursday evening ballet class during the summer.
~Performance team dancers are required to register for the following class during the normal season:
Glow Ballet, Friday 11-11:45am
Glow Pointe, Friday 11:45-12:30pm
Glow PT Rehearsal, Friday 12:30-1pm
~ Dancers commit to attending their choreography intensive August 10 and perform on Sunday, August 13th at the DbD Summer Showcase at Fischer Park.
~Glow Performance Team members commit to the following:
Christmas Traditions dress rehearsal Saturday, November 18th
Christmas Traditions dress rehearsal & performance Friday, December 1st ALL DAY
Christmas Festival Saturday, December 2nd ALL DAY
Spring Ballet rehearsal Saturday, February 24
Spring Ballet dress rehearsal Friday, March 1
Spring Ballet performance Saturday, March 2nd ALL DAY
Recital Saturday, June 2nd & 3rd ALL DAY
~Dancers commit to paying for team wear ($75/dancer split June 15th & July 15th-not required for returning PT members), choreography intensive due August 1st ($75/dancer), Christmas costume due September 15th ($75…if we reuse, can use the same costume or purchase from a former dancer), Spring Ballet costume due November 15th ($75...if we reuse, can use the same costume or purchase from a former dancer) plus monthly tuition of $25 for rehearsal fee plus your monthly class tuition. Additional costs may include optional travel or competition.
~The main source of communication for performance teams will be on the app "Slack" that can be downloaded on your phone, tablet, or computer. You agree to check for all information and details here and on the Google Doc link.
